Fans of Discovery’s “Moonshiners” know exactly what they’re after – and here it is, in stock and ready to ship. This is the genuine Mark & Digger’s Rye Apple from Sugarlands Distilling Company, made to the recipe of show favourites Mark Ramsey and Digger Manes as part of the Sugarlands Legends Series.
It’s distilled in small batches in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, starting from a full-bodied rye spirit and infusing it with juicy gala and golden delicious apples plus a warm blend of pie spices – nutmeg, allspice and clove. The nose is pure apple pastry and it drinks like spiced apple pie in a glass, all at a punchy 40% ABV (80 proof). It even picked up a Silver Medal at the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Serve it ice-cold straight from the freezer, pour it over ice, or stir it into autumn cocktails and hot toddies. A must-have for moonshine lovers – and a fun gift for anyone who follows the show.
