Product Description
Give this rye a try if you like spice with a floral edge. Old Forester uses 20% malted barley alongside 65% rye and 15% corn. That generous malt share brings the floral character that balances the rye’s brisk spice.
The nose has brown sugar and molasses, a hint of malt, and notes of root beer and dark fruit. On the palate, sweet licorice and subtle oak sit with burnt sugar, blood orange and a hint of black pepper. The long finish has black pepper and citrus oils, rounded out by toasted malt.
