Imperio Del Don Extra Añejo is the kind of tequila you open for the occasions that matter. Aged a remarkable ten years in American oak — far beyond the three-year minimum that earns the extra añejo name — it’s a sipping tequila built to stand alongside a fine aged rum or cognac, and a genuine collector’s bottle from Mexico.

That decade in barrel shows in the glass: a deep copper colour and a nose of caramel, dried fruit and sweet vanilla lifted by a whisper of smoke. The palate is where it earns its keep — cooked agave at the core, wrapped in chocolate, honey, vanilla and a dusting of cinnamon, all carried on a long, silky finish. Made to the original recipe of the Orendain family, it drinks with real old-world polish.
