Ignite Tequila Anejo

Ignite Tequila Añejo is the brand’s most polished expression — a 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila from the highlands of Jalisco, rested up to 18 months in new American oak until it takes on a deep amber colour. If you’ve been curious about the Ignite range, this is the bottle made for slow sipping rather than shots, and it earned 96 points from The Tasting Panel to back that up.

That long rest in oak does the heavy lifting. Expect maple and vanilla up front, a curl of cinnamon and clove through the middle, and a finish that drifts into dark chocolate and gently smoky tobacco. It’s full-bodied and smooth — the kind of añejo that rewards an unhurried glass.

Pour it neat or over a single large cube and give it a minute; the spice and chocolate notes stretch out as it warms. It holds its own without any help, though it will happily soften an Old Fashioned if you’d rather build a cocktail. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), 750ml.
