The blend is roughly 82% cognac to 18% orange liqueur, drawing on dozens of eaux-de-vie sourced exclusively from Grande Champagne — the most prized cru of the Cognac region — each aged a minimum of 14 years. The result, at 40% ABV, pours a deep amber tinged with copper and unfolds slowly in the glass: a nose of fresh bitter orange wrapped in woody, tobacco and dried-plum notes, then an intense, old-cognac palate of wood and walnut, with delicate orange and vanilla carrying a long, warming finish.
