Gorae Soju Podo is the grape expression of the fast-growing Korean soju brand — “podo” simply means grape — and it tastes just like the candy-sweet green grapes you remember: bright, juicy and lightly floral. At an easy 12% ABV it is a world away from harsh, high-proof spirits — clean, mellow and dangerously easy to sip.
Gorae is made with soft volcanic bedrock water from Korea’s Jeju Island and filtered to a smooth, no-burn finish, which is exactly why it shines poured straight from the fridge or over a glass of ice. It is also a natural mixer: top it with soda for a grape spritzer, splash it into a fruity soju cocktail, or stir up a somaek with a cold lager.
