Product Description
G4 Tequila Clásico Blanco is a limited-edition “throwback” release that pays homage to the brand’s early batches. Produced at the El Pandillo distillery (NOM 1579) by fourth-generation master distiller Felipe Camarena, it differs from the standard G4 Blanco by incorporating a portion of fiber-fermented tequila.
Production
- Agave: The tequila is made from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave from the Los Altos region of Jalisco.
- Water: Like other G4 products, it is made with a 50/50 blend of collected rainwater and natural spring water.
- Fermentation: The “clásico” profile comes from a blend of 90% classic G4 Blanco and 10% tequila that is fermented with the agave fibers, which adds a richer texture and more vegetal notes.
- Cooking and extraction: The agave is cooked in traditional stone ovens and crushed with a mechanical tahona.
- Distillation: The spirit is double-distilled in copper pot stills.
