Product Description
Cavazza makes this Pinot Grigio from vineyards on the foothills around Montebello. The vines grow in alluvial soils with calcareous rock, and the wine carries the Delle Venezie DOC designation.
The grapes ferment in stainless steel at 18°C. The wine remains in steel until January, with weekly batonage. In the glass it is pale yellow, with delicate pear and white-flower notes, a dry palate and crisp acidity.
Serve it at 10 to 12°C with egg-based dishes, seafood or vegetables. The dry profile and refreshing finish suit food that calls for a crisp Italian white.
