Product Description
Casa Noble Añejo Tequila is built for serious sipping. Produced in the hills around the town of Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico, this ultra-premium spirit starts with 100% Blue Weber agave grown in mineral-rich volcanic soils on Casa Noble’s own estate. The agave plants are allowed to fully mature before harvest, concentrating natural sweetness and complexity.
At the distillery, piñas are slow-cooked in traditional stone ovens to coax out deep, caramelized agave flavors, then naturally fermented before being triple-distilled in small copper stills. This third distillation is a key point of difference: while most tequilas are distilled twice, Casa Noble’s extra pass refines the spirit, stripping harsh edges while preserving rich agave character.
Once distilled, the tequila rests for a full two years in new French white oak barrels, double the minimum aging requirement for Añejo. French oak, more commonly associated with fine wine and cognac, imparts a more elegant, dessert-leaning profile than ex-bourbon barrels. Over time, it layers in notes of toasted oak, butterscotch, vanilla, dried fruits, and baking spice, while still letting the sweet, slow-cooked agave shine through.
In the glass, Casa Noble Añejo shows a deep amber-gold color. On the nose, you’ll find caramel, vanilla, and roasted agave wrapped in hints of dried fruit and warm spice. The palate is plush and full-bodied, with flavors of dark chocolate, butterscotch, and toasted oak balancing the core agave sweetness. A touch of pepper and baking spice keeps it lively, while the finish lingers with cocoa, caramelized sugar, and soft oak.
Best enjoyed neat in a rocks or Glencairn glass, Casa Noble Añejo also shines in elevated classics like a Tequila Old Fashioned, where its rich oak and dessert notes can stand in for bourbon. At 40% ABV, it’s approachable yet structured enough to appeal to both seasoned agave enthusiasts and whiskey drinkers exploring premium tequila. Combined with its certified-organic credentials and award-winning pedigree, Casa Noble Añejo is a standout choice for anyone looking to add a refined, barrel-aged tequila to their home bar or gifting lineup.
