Product Description
Frappello is a bright, easy-drinking Sicilian red from Caruso & Minini, blending two of the island’s signature grapes: Frappato, all juicy red fruit and perfume, and Nerello Mascalese, which brings structure and a savory, mineral edge. Together they strike a lovely balance — lively but grown-up.
Look for ripe cherry and wild strawberry with darker plum and blueberry behind them, a lift of sweet spice and dried herbs, and a fresh, food-friendly acidity carried over fine, gentle tannins. It’s medium-bodied and genuinely versatile at the table.
This is a weeknight Italian red that drinks well above its price. Give it a light chill — around 15 minutes in the fridge — and serve it with tomato-sauced pasta, pizza, grilled vegetables or a charcuterie board.
