Product Description
Cantera Negra Añejo uses only Blue Weber agave, water and yeast. The spirit is twice distilled, and the aged tequilas in the range rest in former Cognac and bourbon barrels.
After at least 18 months in barrel, the tequila keeps the subtle citrus and earthy character found in the younger expressions. Cooked agave, cinnamon and toasted oak lead into vanilla and a warm, woody finish.
Pour it neat to taste the aged character on its own. For a mixed drink, try it in an Old Fashioned, Espresso Martini or Ranch Water.
