Willm Poire Williams Pear Brandy

Poire Williams is the classic French pear brandy — a clear, unaged eau-de-vie distilled from ripe Williams pears (the variety also known as Bartlett), and Willm’s is a beautifully fragrant example. There’s no sugar and no barrel here: just the pure, captured essence of the fruit, distilled gently to preserve its delicate perfume.

Pour it and the aroma is unmistakably fresh pear, lifted by notes of green apple, quince and a whisper of caramel sweetness. On the palate it’s crisp, fruity and warming, with the clean intensity that only a true eau-de-vie delivers at 45% ABV.

Serve it well chilled in a small glass as an after-dinner digestif — the traditional way — or alongside desserts built on chocolate, vanilla or poached fruit. It’s also a sophisticated pour for cocktails that want a genuine hit of orchard-fresh pear.
