Product Description
Meet the original mezquila — the world’s first bottling to marry tequila and mezcal in a single spirit. Santo Puro Mezquila blends 100% Blue Weber agave (the heart of tequila) with 100% Espadín agave (the soul of mezcal). It was born when rocker Sammy Hagar and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine combined the two on a beach in Cabo, decided the result was too good to keep to themselves, and brought in master distiller Juan Eduardo Nuñez to make it real.
The blend gives you the best of both worlds in the glass. It opens with a mild, honeyed aroma; the tequila side brings earthy, floral, faintly fruity notes while the Espadín mezcal layers in gentle smoke and a whisper of salt. Honey and almond sweetness carry through to a clean, peppery finish. At 40% ABV it stays smooth and sippable rather than fiery.
It’s versatile by design: sip it neat to catch the smoke-and-sweet interplay, pour it over ice, or build it into a smoky twist on a margarita or paloma. If you love tequila but are curious about mezcal — or the other way around — this is the bottle that bridges them.
