Product Description
Poppy is the Silva family’s Central Coast label, made in Monterey wine country from grapes grown across the Santa Lucia Highlands, Arroyo Seco and Paso Robles. Their Cabernet is the everyday bottle you reach for without overthinking it — honest California Cab at a genuinely friendly price.
It’s medium- to full-bodied and easy-drinking, with blueberry, black cherry and cassis up front and a little licorice, violet and cigar-box character underneath, rounded off by vanilla and mocha from the oak. Soft tannins and a smooth, lingering finish make it approachable straight out of the bottle — and Wine Enthusiast scored it 92 points.
Pour it with savoury, hearty food: grilled steak, roast lamb, or a wedge of aged cheese. Serve at cool room temperature. 750ml.
