Del Maguey Vida is the mezcal that taught a generation of bartenders to love agave — the single-village espadín from San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca that turns up behind nearly every good cocktail bar. It’s made the traditional way, with agave hearts roasted over wood, which is exactly where its signature campfire smoke comes from.

At 42% ABV it’s smoky but balanced: cooked agave and honey up front, a lift of lime peel and white pepper, a touch of green-herb freshness and a warm, mineral finish. The smoke is always there but never takes over — you can taste the roasted agave underneath every sip.
