Yuki Tora Snow Tiger Nigori Sake brings together elegance and power in a single bottle. Brewed in Japan’s northern Aomori Prefecture by Momokawa Brewing of Japan (MBJ), this nigori was designed to capture the softness of falling snow (“Yuki”) and the strength of the tiger (“Tora”). The result is a sake that’s plush and approachable, yet bold enough to hold its own with intensely flavored dishes.
As a nigori, Yuki Tora is only coarsely filtered, intentionally leaving fine rice particles in the liquid. This creates its signature cloudy white appearance and gives the sake a naturally creamy, full-bodied texture. On the nose, you’ll find a gentle, slightly sweet aroma with clear notes of vanilla. The palate follows with layers of coconut, cream, subtle spice and ripe fruit tones like melon and pear, all wrapped in a mellow, round profile and a smooth, soft finish.
