Whitley Neill Raspberry Gin

Whitley Neill Raspberry Gin takes a classic London dry-style gin and builds in a focused hit of ripe red fruit, without losing the clean structure that gin drinkers expect. At its core is a traditional botanical lineup: juniper, coriander seed, cassia bark, orris root, angelica root, licorice, sweet orange, and lemon. To that, the distillers add Scottish raspberries, which bring vivid color and a natural berry aroma. 

On the palate, you get an immediate impression of juniper, coriander, and licorice, giving a dry, slightly earthy opening. That quickly gives way to a burst of fresh raspberry and citrus, with just enough sweetness to round the edges without tipping into liqueur territory. The finish is long, gently tart, and lifted by citrus, making it an easy choice for drinkers who want a flavored gin that still tastes grown-up. 

Bottled at 43% ABV, this isn’t a lightweight “pink drink.” The higher strength keeps the botanicals defined in mixed drinks and holds its character even when lengthened with tonic, lemonade, or soda.  One of the simplest serves is 50 ml of Whitley Neill Raspberry Gin over ice, topped with tonic or lemonade and garnished with fresh berries or a slice of lemon. For something more celebratory, a small measure topped with chilled sparkling wine gives you an instant, raspberry-led aperitif.

Behind the bottle is eighth-generation distiller Johnny Neill, whose family has been involved in gin since the 18th century. His Raspberry Gin is inspired by visits to his mother’s family in Scotland and memories of picking fruit in the countryside.
