Verita Vodka Italiana is built on a simple idea: if Italy can produce world-class wine, grappa, and amaro, it can also craft a serious vodka. Distilled in San Pietro di Feletto in the Veneto region, Verita is made entirely from Italian wheat and pure mountain spring water drawn from the surrounding Alps. This combination of local grain and pristine water is the foundation of its clean, focused profile.

Production is handled by Distilleria dell’Alpe, a family-run distillery owned by the Beniamino Maschio family, who have generations of experience making traditional Italian spirits. The base spirit is distilled three times in a column still, then refined a fourth time in an antique wood-fired bain-marie still, a slower, gentler method that allows precise control over the final cut. Unlike many commercial vodkas, Verita is not chill filtered, preserving subtle aromatics and a naturally textured palate instead of polishing everything down to featureless neutrality. 

In the glass, Verita Vodka Italiana is more than just “smooth.” The nose shows delicate notes of stone fruit and soft grain with a crisp mineral edge. On the palate, you get a quiet sweetness from the wheat, hints of peach and light pastry, and a creamy grain note that adds weight without heaviness. Launched in 2023, Verita quickly accumulated international accolades, including a Double Gold medal, a 97-point score, and the Best-in-Class “Best Vodka” title at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, a strong signal that this is not just another neutral spirit on the shelf.
