Product Description
Tierra De Caballos Añejo 65th Anniversary Limited Edition is a statement bottle for serious tequila drinkers and collectors. Created to mark more than six decades of craftsmanship, this limited release builds on the core Tierra De Caballos style and pushes it into deeper, more luxurious territory.
The tequila begins with 100% Blue Weber agave from Jalisco, harvested only when fully mature and rich in natural sugars. Those agave hearts are slow-cooked and carefully fermented to preserve their character before distillation. The spirit is then laid down in oak—often ex-bourbon barrels, sometimes treated with agave syrup—to rest significantly longer than the one-year minimum required for the añejo category. This extended aging period builds structure and smoothness without overwhelming the agave core.
In the glass, the 65th Anniversary Añejo shows a rich amber hue. On the nose, you’ll find layered aromas of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and gentle baking spice, all supported by a backbone of cooked agave. The palate is full and velvety, opening with sweet vanilla and butterscotch, moving into notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and warm oak, with a subtle peppery edge that keeps the finish clean and dry rather than cloying.
This is a tequila that deserves to be sipped first, ideally neat in a tulip or Glencairn glass, or over a single large cube to open up the aromatics. It also performs beautifully in elevated classics like an Añejo Old Fashioned or spirit-forward agave Manhattan, where its oak-driven sweetness and spice can stand in for aged whiskey while delivering a distinctly Mexican profile.
Presented in a 750 ml bottle with premium, anniversary-focused packaging, Tierra De Caballos Añejo 65th Anniversary Limited Edition is both a celebration pour and a display piece, an ideal gift for tequila aficionados, milestone occasions, or anyone building a serious agave collection.
