    Product Description

Crafted in the coastal village of Muff in County Donegal, The Muff Liquor Company Gin takes a playful name and backs it up with serious distilling. This Irish potato gin starts with four varieties of locally sourced potatoes, distilled into a clean, neutral base spirit that naturally feels softer and creamier than typical grain gin. That base is then distilled six times for extra smoothness, giving bartenders and home drinkers a reliable, easy-sipping foundation for classic and modern cocktails alike.

Once the spirit is ready, the distillery layers in a focused mix of botanicals: bright mandarin and citrus peel, fragrant elderflower, juniper berries, and fresh rosemary. Cold infusion allows those botanicals to steep slowly in the potato spirit, pulling out flavor without harsh edges. In the glass, you get a nose of zesty citrus and light florals, followed by a palate that balances juniper, sweet mandarin, and clean herbal notes with a long, gentle finish.

Just before bottling, the team adds a small measure of Champagne extract. It doesn’t make the gin fizzy, but it does give the finish a lifted, almost sparkling character that keeps each sip feeling crisp rather than heavy. Bottled at 40% ABV, Muff Gin works equally well in a straightforward gin and tonic, a citrus-forward martini, or as the base for house cocktails that call for a smooth, citrus-led gin rather than a piney, juniper bomb.

Gluten free and vegan friendly, this is a flexible bottle for mixed groups and modern bar programs. Whether you’re stocking a back bar or upgrading your home cart, Muff Gin offers a distinctive Irish twist that’s familiar enough for everyday pouring and interesting enough for your next signature serve. Its distinctive bottle and Donegal backstory also make it an easy gifting choice for gin fans who like something different.
