Product Description
St. George Valley Gin is a modern California gin that puts citrus at center stage without losing sight of balance. Created by St. George Spirits in Alameda, it’s inspired by the family-run citrus orchards of California’s Central Valley, especially Lindcove Ranch. The goal: bottle the sensory rush of walking through those groves when the trees are in bloom and the air is saturated with fresh peel and flowers.
To achieve that, the distillers work with a non-GMO grain neutral base spirit and an unusually complex bill of 25 botanicals. Fresh orange blossoms lead the charge, supported by layers of Seville, Valencia, and bergamot orange, plus grapefruit, lemon, and lime. These citrus notes are woven together with angelica, orris, cardamom, caraway, coriander, bay laurel, pink and Malabar peppercorn, cinnamon, star anise, dill, fennel, cucumber, and ginger. Each group of botanicals is infused and distilled separately, then carefully blended so the final gin stays lifted and precise rather than heavy or sweet.
On the nose, you get bright orange and lemon zest, soft orange blossom, juniper, cool cucumber, and a hint of pepper. On the palate, the impression is of orange petals and zest over a crisp, clean core, with cucumber adding freshness and subtle blossom and petitgrain lingering on the exhale. The 45% ABV bottling strength helps those flavors carry through cocktails while keeping the texture silky and approachable.
Valley Gin is built with bartenders in mind. It adds an aromatic lift to a classic Martini or Vesper, brings vivid citrus to a Gin & Tonic or Collins, and has enough floral character to make a standout Rosé Spritz or Ramos Gin Fizz. At the table, its citrus-and-herb profile is a natural partner for seafood, fresh salads, and lighter desserts. Whether you’re stocking a serious home bar or looking for a distinctive gift, St. George Valley Gin offers a clear sense of place and a versatile, cocktail-ready profile in every pour.
