- Distillery: Green River Distilling Company in Owensboro, Kentucky.
- Proof: 94 proof (47% ABV).
- Age: Aged for at least 4 years in new White Oak barrels with a level 4 char.
- Mash Bill: 70% Kentucky-grown corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley.
- Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Light sweet caramel, sweet apples, cherries, mild rye spices, dry oak, and possibly some alcohol vapor initially. Other sources mention toasted corn, soft vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon stick, and orange peel.
- Palate: Initially sweet with hints of vanilla cream, cinnamon toast, caramel, and some citrus and graham cracker notes. Tobacco, char, leather, vanilla, orange peel, nutmeg, grape, clove, and spearmint are also noted. Some mention baking spice and a hint of caramel or brown sugar, while others find it more citrus-forward with less sweetness.
- Finish: Medium in length with dry oak, light clove, a slight bitterness (like citrus zest), and a gentle warmth and baking spice. Black pepper spice can grow considerably in the finish. Hints of honey and tobacco are also present. Some note a strong black licorice flavor in the finish.
