Paxis Red Blend

Paxis Red Blend is a modern expression of Portugal’s red-wine heritage, built for people who want real flavor without overpaying. Produced by DFJ Vinhos in the coastal Lisboa region, this wine brings together traditional Portuguese grapes in a style that is smooth, approachable, and ready to enjoy the day you bring it home. 

In the glass, Paxis shows a deep ruby color and an inviting, fruit-driven nose. Aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and ripe plum are layered with hints of warm spice and a touch of chocolate, giving you plenty to explore without feeling heavy or oaky. On the palate, it sits comfortably in the medium-bodied camp: the fruit is concentrated but not jammy, the tannins are soft and rounded, and a gentle line of acidity keeps each sip lively rather than dense. 

This is a blend built around native Portuguese varieties, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz. Those grapes are better known in high-end Douro and Port wines, and here they’re used to create a friendly, everyday red with serious pedigree.
