Naveran Brut Nature Cava
- Brut Nature, zero dosage: Completely dry sparkling wine with no added sugar, highlighting pure fruit and mineral character rather than sweetness
- Organic, estate-grown grapes: Certified organic fruit from the Naveran family’s own vineyards in the Alt Penedès, just outside Barcelona, ensures full control from vine to bottle
- Traditional-method aging on lees: At least a year of bottle aging on the lees builds fine, persistent bubbles and added complexity without heavy oak
- Distinctive grape blend: Classic Cava varieties like Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada, often with a touch of Chardonnay, deliver citrus, green apple, and floral notes with bright acidity
- Food-friendly and versatile: Its crisp profile pairs effortlessly with shellfish, fried tapas, soft cheeses, and roast chicken, or works as a focused, refreshing aperitif on its own

Product Description
Naveran Brut Nature Cava is a serious option for drinkers who want Champagne-style quality without the Champagne price tag. Produced by Caves Naveran in the Alt Penedès region of Catalunya, this wine is fully estate-grown and organic, meaning all the grapes come from the family’s own carefully farmed vineyards. The focus is on transparency: clean farming, traditional winemaking, and no unnecessary additions.
The base wine is built from a classic Cava blend that typically includes Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada, sometimes complemented by Chardonnay. Each variety brings a clear role: Macabeo adds aromatics, Xarel·lo and Chardonnay contribute body and texture, and Parellada lifts the acidity. After fermentation, the wine undergoes its second fermentation in bottle and rests on its lees for at least 12 months. This traditional method aging is what gives Naveran Brut Nature its fine, persistent mousse and extra layers of flavor without relying on oak.
In the glass, you can expect a pale straw color and a steady stream of small bubbles. The nose leans toward fresh citrus and orchard fruit: lemon, lime, green apple, pear, backed by light floral notes and a subtle bready edge from lees aging. On the palate, the wine is bone dry, with no dosage added at disgorgement. That means the fruit and minerality are front and center, supported by bright, linear acidity and a clean, chalky finish. Texturally, it feels energetic but not aggressive, making it easy to drink while still feeling precise and focused.
At around 11.5% ABV, Naveran Brut Nature is light enough for daytime drinking yet structured enough to handle a full meal. It’s especially strong with briny oysters, grilled shrimp, calamari, or other seafood, but also works with fried chicken, soft-ripened cheeses, and salty snacks. This is a smart choice for anyone who prefers dry sparkling wine, values organic farming, and wants a bottle that performs well from casual brunch to a more elevated dinner.
