Product Description
Mi Campo Tequila Reposado brings a fresh, contemporary twist to classic tequila craft. Produced in Jalisco, Mexico, it starts with 100% Blue Weber agave that’s allowed to mature for around seven years before harvest, giving the piñas time to develop rich sugars and depth of flavor. After slow cooking in traditional stone ovens, the agave is gently pressed rather than aggressively crushed, a choice that preserves its natural honeyed character and avoids harsh bitterness.
The heart of Mi Campo Reposado’s character comes from its unique aging. After open-air fermentation among citrus trees and double distillation in traditional stills, the tequila rests for roughly three months in French oak barrels that previously held Napa Valley Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. These wine-seasoned barrels softly round the spirit’s texture and introduce delicate notes of red fruit and toasted oak, without overwhelming the bright agave core.
In the glass, Mi Campo Reposado shows a light straw hue with subtle golden glints. Aromas open with cooked agave and ripe orchard fruit, layered with hints of banana, vanilla, cinnamon, and clove, plus undertones reminiscent of chocolate and cappuccino. On the palate, you’ll find a smooth blend of honey-maple sweetness, peaches and cream, soft white chocolate, and a thread of minerality. A gentle burst of pepper and toasted oak carries through the finish, keeping each sip balanced and clean rather than overly sweet.
At 40% ABV (80 proof), Mi Campo Tequila Reposado is approachable enough for newcomers yet interesting enough for seasoned tequila drinkers. Enjoy it neat or over a large cube to appreciate its layered profile, or use it to upgrade classic cocktails, think a reposado Old Fashioned, a richer margarita, or a paloma with extra depth. The bold, mural-inspired bottle artwork by Mexican artist Raul Urias makes it a standout on the shelf and a natural choice for gifting or displaying on the bar.
Combining thoughtful agave sourcing, careful production, and innovative wine-barrel resting, Mi Campo Tequila Reposado delivers a smooth, flavor-driven tequila that easily bridges the gap between casual.
