Product Description
Lunazul Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila aged in former bourbon barrels for 12 to 18 months. This aging process gives the tequila a bold flavor profile that is distinct from Lunazul’s younger tequilas, with prominent vanilla, warm spice, and oak notes. It is well-regarded for being an affordable yet high-quality añejo and has won several awards.
Tasting notes
- Aroma: Features notes of charred white oak, along with hints of dried fruits like plums and almonds, vanilla, and spices.
- Taste: Full-bodied and smooth on the palate with flavors of earthy agave, toasted oak, sweet dark fruit, vanilla, and a subtle peppery note.
- Finish: A prolonged, warm finish with lingering notes of baking spices and tobacco.
