Product Description
G4 Tequila Clásico Reposado is a limited-edition expression crafted by master distiller Felipe Camarena at the El Pandillo distillery (NOM 1579) in Jalisco, Mexico. Produced in a small batch of just 2,016 cases, this tequila is highly prized by enthusiasts and collectors.
Key characteristics
- Unique aging: The tequila is aged for three months using a distinctive split-aging process. Half the spirit matures in single-use American oak whiskey barrels, and the other half is aged in single-use sherry wine casks.
- Water blend: Following G4’s traditional process, the tequila is distilled using a 50/50 blend of collected rainwater and natural spring water.
- Production: It is made from 100% blue Weber agave cooked in traditional stone ovens. During fermentation, some agave fibers are included to add rustic depth and mouthfeel.
- Tribute label: The packaging revives G4’s original 2012 label, a “throwback” design that pays homage to the brand’s early days and four-generation legacy.
