    Product Description

Discover a bourbon that stands apart with bold intention and refined craftsmanship. Dark Arts Barely Legal Bourbon brings together a calculated mash bill, 51 percent corn meeting 49 percent rye (split between traditional and malted rye), to create an expression that straddles the line between a classic bourbon and a high-rye whiskey.

What makes this bourbon distinctive is its small batch nature and cask strength delivery. Each release is drawn from just a few barrels, carefully blended and bottled without dilution so that the full character remains intact. Typical releases sit around 115 proof or higher. Aging for approximately six to eight years in new American oak brings richness and complexity: depth from the wood, warmth from the rye, and sweetness from the corn.

The spirit is distilled in Indiana and then brought to Kentucky for the final blending and bottling, melding regional strengths for a truly American whiskey experience. On the nose you’ll find generous aromas of orchard fruit, a spicy hint of rye grain, touches of caramelized sugar, lemon zest, and graham cracker. The palate surprises with honeyed chocolate, cherry-cola sweetness, citrus brightness, and a subtle cinnamon heat that lingers. The finish settles into a buttery mouthfeel, leaving vanilla, caramel, stone-fruit echoes, and oak-driven spice behind.

This is a bourbon for those who enjoy a whiskey with swagger: full-proof, layered, and unapologetically character-driven. Whether savored neat to appreciate its full intensity, or with a few drops of water to unlock deeper subtleties, it makes a statement. For collectors and everyday enthusiasts alike, this release reflects the alchemic spirit behind Dark Arts Whiskey House, taking grain, wood, fire, and water and transforming those elements into something memorable. Add this bottle to your shelf when you’re ready for a bold bourbon that refuses to blend in.
