Product Description
Cascahuin Destino Tequila Blanco is a high-proof, additive-free expression designed for drinkers who want to taste agave, not shortcuts. Built around 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the lowland valley of Jalisco, Destino starts with mature plants that are slow-roasted in brick ovens, concentrating natural sweetness while preserving the distillery’s signature mineral edge.
Rather than a single run, Destino is created by blending several blanco tequilas produced at Cascahuin, each made with different process combinations. Those component tequilas are gradually narrowed down and integrated until the team lands on one final “destiny” blend that captures everything they want in a still-strength blanco. The result is a limited bottling that feels both deliberate and deeply rooted in Cascahuin’s 70-year history of traditional tequila making.
In the glass, Destino Blanco is unapologetically expressive. The nose leads with roasted and fresh agave, citrus zest, green and white pepper, and a touch of herbal earthiness. On the palate, the 49% ABV shows up as weight and concentration rather than burn: you get layers of baked agave, lime peel, peppercorn, and subtle salinity over a clean, mineral backbone. The finish is long, dry, and precise, leaving gentle agave sweetness and spice rather than oak or additives.
Destino is crafted using time-tested techniques: brick-oven cooking, traditional milling (including tahona and roller mills), slow fermentations with agave fiber, and distillation in copper and stainless steel. There are no flavorings, colorings, or sweeteners, just agave, water, and skilled hands guiding the process from field to bottle.
For drinkers, that means a blanco that is best appreciated neat or with a single cube of ice, where its structure and nuance can shine. It also stands up beautifully in minimalist agave-forward cocktails like a Tommy’s Margarita or a stirred tequila martini, where its higher proof and mineral character won’t disappear behind citrus or sugar.
If you’re building a serious tequila shelf, or looking for a gift for a true agave enthusiast, Cascahuin Destino Tequila Blanco brings together authenticity, rarity, and real flavor density in one bottle.
